Hospice House

Built With Love

The Hospice House was the dream of a few long-time Catholic Community Health volunteers for a dedicated space to be built for our hospice patients. With the help of the Whispering Angels Foundation, construction began late September of 2019 and was finished in the spring of 2020. Since this time CCH patients have utilized this sacred space for both in-patient living, but also respite. This beautiful facility is available to all of our hospice patients.

  • Kitchen and bathroom for guest and family use
  • Chapel
  • Private entrance and lobby
“I so appreciate all that Deacon Joe and all the hospice members did for my mom.”
“We were so thankful for Gretta and Kim. Gretta was with us when mom took her last breath and Kim came in right after and took charge and knew what to do in a moment I felt so lost.”
“We can see the worry is off of our mom’s face since CCH has been visiting our dad.”
“Many thanks for the loving care of our father. We are grateful to have him cared for physically, but also spiritually.

Levels of Care

Acute Care

This level of care addresses intense pain or other symptoms, such as nausea, severe shortness of breath, or complex medical needs.

Respite Care

Five-day respite care is available under Medicare, Medicaid, and some insurances to provide caregiver relief.

Residential Care

Some patients choose to reside at the CCH Hospice House for extended hospice care. For this level of hospice care, generally your insurance will cover medical costs, but you will be billed for daily room and board fees.

Making a House a Home

The Catholic Community Hospice House was designed with home in mind. Comfort and convenience are the hallmarks of the Hospice House.  We offer space for rest and reflection for the whole family. We have a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. A small dining room is available for you to eat with your family. We also have two conference rooms to provide privacy when meeting.
